People operating a powered watercraft without a PCO card may be fined $250.
The PCO card is good for life.
To drive a 'seadoo' you must be 16 or older and have your PCO card.

Federal regulations now require everyone operating a personal watercraft or motorized boat for recreational purposes to have a Pleasure Craft Operator (PCO) card. The PCO card is proof that you have a basic understanding of boating safety, and it shows that you are competent to operate a powered vessel on Canadian waters. This requirement has been phased in over ten years, and it is now law for anyone driving a boat or PWC to have their PCO card onboard at all times.

BoatSafe 2000 is an acting agent for AAA Boating Safety Standards, an accredited course provider approved by Transport Canada.
